Puig de Sant Nofre
A 25-minute climb to a ruined 15th-century hermitage above the Pla de Mallorca, where one picnic table waits at the top and the Tramuntana ridge sits on the horizon. Where I send friends who want a summit without giving up a whole morning.
Mallora’s take
Short, well-marked climb to a 254 m summit in the middle of the Pla de Mallorca — about 25 minutes from the small dirt parking lot signed 150 m off the road. At the top: ruins of a 15th-century hermitage, one picnic table, and a near-360° panorama of the plain and the Tramuntana ridge in the distance. If you want a longer day, park in Sant Joan village and walk in on the quiet asphalt road — roughly 8 km round trip.
Good to know
The hermitage is in ruins (don't expect a restored chapel), and most of the approach from Sant Joan is on asphalt. Dogs are welcome on the trail.
