Ermita de Sant Honorat
A working hermitage halfway up Puig de Randa — the middle of three monasteries strung along the 534 m mountain. I send people here when Palma feels loud and they want an hour of quiet, a small chapel, and a view that stretches across half the island.
Mallora’s take
Second of the three monasteries on Puig de Randa, sitting at the halfway point on the road up. Only the chapel is open to visitors — the cloister, garden and monk cells stay closed, so set expectations accordingly. The real reason to stop is the view from the terrace over the southern plain. Avoid Sunday mornings unless you want to land in the middle of mass with a full car park.
Good to know
Parking fits around 15 cars and fills fast on weekends and during Sunday mass. There are no information panels on site, so read up before you arrive if you want context on the hermitage.
