Palma Aquàrium
Palma's aquarium on the eastern edge of the city — where I send families when the morning needs a plan. Mediterranean tanks, an Amazon room with a waterfall, and shark feedings worth timing your visit around. Arrive at 9:30 opening or circle the lot.
Mallora’s take
Plan for two hours, three if you do the 3D whale cinema and stop at the shark tank feedings. The route is split into Mediterranean, tropical, and an Amazon jungle room with a waterfall — outdoor gardens between the indoor tanks make it less of a slog with kids. The exit funnels you through the gift shop, no way around it. Add-on activities (shark vision boat, behind-the-scenes tour) cost extra on top of the entry ticket.
Good to know
Parking lot fills fast in summer — come at 9:30 opening or expect to circle. Online tickets aren't really cheaper than at the door, so don't stress booking ahead unless it's August peak. Drinks and snacks inside are priced like an airport.
