Manacor History Museum

Manacor's local history museum, tucked in a 17th-century cloister beside the Rafa Nadal museum — which is why most people walk past it. Touch the Talayotic replicas, open the jar of Roman garum (you won't forget it), and you're out in an hour.

Mallora’s take

Housed in the old cloister of Sant Vicenç Ferrer, the collection runs from Talayotic-era pieces through Roman finds to the industrial history of Manacor. It's a hands-on setup — replicas you can actually touch, audio guides, and even jars with period scents (the Garum one sticks with you). Small enough to do in an hour, and the staff at the entrance walk you through what's interactive before you start. Sits in the shadow of the Rafa Nadal museum next door, which is why most people miss it.
