Talaia d'Alcúdia
The summit hike above Alcúdia's Victoria peninsula — start at the ermita before 10am, when the parking still has space and the light is still soft. Four hours up and back, a light scramble near the top, and the whole bay laid out below you.
Mallora’s take
Start at Ermita de la Victoria — free parking, but arrive before 10am or there's no space. Trail is well marked, 10 km loop, about 550 m up and down. Last stretch near the summit is a light scramble over rocks — fine in sturdy shoes, sketchy in trainers. The optional detour to Penya des Migdia mirador (left turn after about 1 km) adds proper exposure and cliff edges; skip it if you're not comfortable with heights.
Good to know
In some sections mosquitoes are brutal — long sleeves and repellent save the day. No water sources anywhere on the route.
