Talaiot Capocorb Vell
An open-air Bronze Age site in the fields south of Llucmajor — circular stone structures from the Talayotic culture, more than three thousand years old, sitting quietly in farmland. My pick when the beach plans collapse and someone in the group reads every info panel.
Mallora’s take
Self-guided walk through the ruins, info panels along the route — the layout is more extensive than you'd guess from the road. €3 cash at the bar by the entrance. Allow 20 minutes if you're skimming, closer to an hour if you actually read the panels. Quiet on weekdays; the area is popular with road cyclists, so expect lycra in the parking lot.
Good to know
Closed Thursdays — easy to miss on the way down. Some of the info boards are sun-bleached but still legible.
