One of Palma's oldest churches, built 1236 on the site of a former mosque after the Christian reconquest. The €6 ticket covers the nave plus the climb up to the bell tower and roof terrace — the rooftop view over the Old Town is the real reason to pay. Mornings are for tourists; late afternoons revert to mass and entry is free for worshippers. Photography inside is restricted, and opening hours on the door don't always match what's posted online.
Good to know
Closed Saturday and Sunday for tourist visits. Entry was free until recently — the €6 fee is new and not signposted clearly. If you arrive after 5pm on a weekday, staff may already be closing up regardless of the posted 8pm time.
