Tram Sóller - Port de Sóller
The 1913 wooden tram that rattles between Sóller and the port, open sides letting the sea air through. Board from the port end if you want a window seat, and come early or late in August — locals know the 9am run still belongs to the bay.
Mallora’s take
Wooden carriages from 1913, open sides, no AC — that's the whole charm and also the catch if you board at 4pm in August. Ticket is €10 one way, not return, so factor €20 per person if you're not walking one leg. Boarding is a scrum in high season; people push for seats and the tram often runs at full capacity. Catch it from the Port de Sóller end if you want a better shot at a window spot.
Good to know
Cash and card accepted at the kiosk, but the queue at Plaça d'Espanya in Sóller moves slowly — buy your ticket while you wait. Trams run roughly every 30 minutes in season.
