Hotel Hostal Cuba

The landmark corner hotel on Santa Catalina's edge, where breakfast lands on the rooftop with the cathedral and port spread out in front of you. Ask for a Santa Catalina-facing room on a higher floor — the Sky Bar below hums late into the weekend.

Mallora’s take

The building stacks four functions into one address — hotel, Sky Bar, restaurant and club — and that defines the stay. Only fifteen rooms , so book the Cuba Corner or Santa Catalina Junior Suite if you want space; the entry-level rooms sit directly above the ground-floor club and weekend nights are loud enough that guests have requested room changes. Breakfast runs from 9am, served either in the restaurant or as a buffet on the rooftop with the cathedral and port in view — the rooftop spread is where this hotel earns its repeat visitors. Sky Bar gets crowded after sunset with non-guests; reception can be strict about re-entry once you've left.

Good to know

The ground-floor nightclub means rooms on lower floors face real noise Friday and Saturday — ask for a higher floor or Santa Catalina-facing room at booking. Rooftop buffet breakfast is also open to the public at €26 per person , so the terrace fills early in season. No on-site parking; use the public car parks around Avinguda Argentina or street parking in Santa Catalina.
