Petit Hotel Hostatgeria La Victoria
A converted monastery on the Cap del Pinar headland, where the hiking trails start at the parking lot and the bay of Alcúdia spreads out below. Where I send friends who want the Tramuntana silence at €90 a night, with a home-made breakfast eaten over the view.
Mallora’s take
Eleven rooms inside a converted monastery on the Cap del Pinar headland — bay of Alcúdia below, Tramuntana foothills behind, hiking trails starting at the parking lot. Rooms are small and minimalist (cramped bathrooms, thin walls, weak WiFi) and that is the trade-off for the location and the €90-ish price point. Check-in is by machine, no permanent reception — if anything breaks, it's WhatsApp only. Breakfast is simple but home-made, eaten with the bay laid out below the window.
Good to know
You need a car — the hotel sits 6 km up a narrow mountain road from Alcúdia with no shops, restaurants or transport nearby. Check-out is enforced sharply at 11:00, and breakfast (around €12) is almost mandatory unless you want to drive down for coffee.
