A budget crash-pad in Can Picafort, fifty steps from the sand. Where I send solo travellers and friend-groups who'd rather spend their euros on the promenade cafés than the pillow. Ask for a sea-view room when you book — they exist, but you have to ask.

This is a one-star property and prices itself accordingly — around €100/night in July buys you a bed, a shower, and a 50 m walk to the sand, nothing more. Rooms vary wildly: some have sea view, most face interior walls, and a few have been subdivided into cramped four-bed setups, so what your neighbour got is no guide to what you'll get. Reception is sporadically staffed (signs say until 22:00, reality is patchier), there's no breakfast and no working vending, and the front-desk staff — Luz comes up repeatedly — get the only consistent praise in the reviews. Treat it as a place to sleep between beach and promenade, not somewhere to spend daytime hours.
Good to know
No on-site parking — street parking only, and evening spots are scarce; check the signs carefully, locals report fines. No breakfast service of any kind, so plan cafés on the promenade. Room quality and size are inconsistent at the same price point — if it matters, ask explicitly for sea view and a non-subdivided room at booking.
