Ask for a sea-view room with balcony; the interior-courtyard rooms face a dim well and feel cave-like. Rooms are basic hostal standard (no wardrobe, just a hanging rail) and housekeeping runs every third day rather than daily, so set expectations accordingly. Lenka and Isabel at reception come up repeatedly in the positive reviews.
Good to know
Late check-out is enforced — a five-minute overrun has been billed at €15. Reception is not staffed around the clock, and the lobby/lounge is only open during breakfast hours.
