El Llorenç Parc de la Mar
Adults-only boutique on Palma's quiet eastern edge — the cathedral is a five-minute walk, but the plaça faces the bay and the noise stays out. Worth the splurge for a sea-facing room and a rooftop dinner where the tasting menu earns its star.
Mallora’s take
Small property at the quiet eastern edge of Old Town — cathedral is a five-minute walk, but the building sits on a plaça facing the bay, so noise stays low. The rooftop is the draw: infinity pool, bar, and a separate Michelin-starred tasting menu restaurant (book ahead, it fills up). Two things to know before booking: rooms vary substantially in size (some are tight, luggage barely fits) and patio-facing rooms have no view at all — pay up for a sea-facing room or skip. Front desk (Sol, Claudia, Massimo on repeat in reviews) handles restaurant reservations and city tips on request.
Good to know
Hotel sits in a restricted-access zone — if arriving by rental car, email ahead for entry instructions, and budget for the valet parking. There's been ongoing construction work on the street immediately outside; ask about current status when booking. Breakfast is excellent but not included in base rate.
