Creu de Sant Salvador
A stone cross on the highest ridge above Felanitx — the short walk from the Sant Salvador sanctuary car park ends at a 360° view across the south-east of the island, with Cabrera on the horizon on clear days. My pick when the coast feels crowded and you want altitude instead.
Mallora’s take
Drive up the narrow road to the Sant Salvador sanctuary, park at the top, and walk the short ridge path to the cross. The view opens both ways — Felanitx and the central plain on one side, the south-east coast and Cabrera on the other. Open 24 hours, no ticket, no gate.
Good to know
The access road has tight switchbacks and is narrow in places — drive slowly, especially if a tour bus is coming down. No facilities at the cross itself; use the sanctuary up the road for toilets and the café.
