Coves del Drach
The limestone caves outside Manacor where the real moment comes at the end — lights cut, complete darkness, and a string quartet plays from boats on the underground lake. Book the first morning slot online and you'll be ahead of the coaches.
Mallora’s take
You walk in as part of a group of several hundred, descend into the cave, and keep moving — there's no real stopping to admire any single formation. The payoff is the end: lights out, complete darkness, and a live string quartet plays from boats on the underground lake. After the concert you can either walk out or queue for a short boat ride across the lake (the boat segment itself is maybe 3 minutes, the queue can be 20).
Good to know
Book tickets online in advance — same-day slots routinely sell out and walk-ups have waited two hours. The cave is a major coach-tour stop, so the first morning slot is the calmest; midday is the worst for crowds and noise inside.
