Aqualand S'Arenal
Mallorca's big water park outside Palma — where I send families in late May, when the slides are open, the queues haven't started, and you can spread a picnic blanket under the trees instead of paying for a lounger.
Mallora’s take
Go in May or early June — park is half empty, no queues, no need for a fast pass. The slides themselves are solid, but budget for the nickel-and-diming: €8 parking, €8 locker, €6–8 lounger, and restaurant prices are eye-watering (€17–19 for a menu). Plenty of grass under the trees, so skip the lounger and bring a picnic blanket and towels. Heads up — in shoulder season some slides may be closed for maintenance, so check before booking.
Good to know
The concrete walkways get scorching in summer. Lockers are small — an 8€ locker won't fit a standard rucksack, so plan what you carry in. Photos taken on rides cost around €15–50 if you want them.
