Restaurant Santuari de Cura
The hilltop restaurant inside the Santuari de Cura monastery, 540 metres up Puig de Randa. Worth the drive for slow-cooked beef and a goat dish that earns its keep, eaten with half the island stretched out below you. Book ahead in summer.
Mallora’s take
Sitting 540m up at the Santuari de Cura monastery, the view does most of the work — but the kitchen holds its own if you order right. Go for the slow-cooked beef or the goat dish; lighter à la carte plates get mixed reactions. The vegetarian options are real, not afterthoughts, and there's a separate café side if you just want coffee and cake after the drive up.
Good to know
Mondays the kitchen closes at 17:30 — coffee and cake only after lunch. The restaurant and café sides are separate; make clear which one you want when you arrive. Book ahead in high season; off-season weekdays you can walk in.
